Brian Smithies

Brian has spent most of his working life at the pointed end of Advisory, Global Business Growth & Acceleration, Investment, Capital Raising, P/E and M&A with world-leading companies such as Longwater Group, Pearson, Fujitsu Corporation, Financial Times Management, FT Knowledge, ABB and many more.

He has worked directly or indirectly with over 250 businesses including tech start-ups and well established multi $m Global product driven companies, providing support in capital raising, Global market entry strategies and planning, stakeholder management, organisational effectiveness, rapid growth strategies, private exits and IPO's. He has also profitably exited a number of his own ventures to corporate acquirers.

He mainly works with the teams in Australia, South East Asia, China, UK and the USA focusing on investor relations & raising capital from Single, Multi Family Offices, VC Partners and HNWI's into ULTRINIUM's Investment Division for investments and acquisitions, as well as identifying new client opportunities for the  Growth Services Division.

In his spare time Brian is an avid action & extreme sports enthusiast, spending time on and in the water, surfing, kayaking, or kitesurfing as well as mountain biking or anything else that gets his heart racing.
